Costa Rica Learning

Mon, February 28, 2022

Many of our Longo Faculty of Business students have participated in Virtual International Work Integrated Learning opportunities with our partner, Costa Rica Global Learning Programs.

Two Humber Longo Faculty of Business interns, who are currently placed with Grupo Quepos in Costa Rica, helped run a four-day local artisan craft and small business fair in the Quepos community. Follow this link to the short video of the fair. This was the first large-scale event of its kind in the area, and it was a great success.

Through the work of the interns, participants were able to sell their products to locals and tourists in the region. The intention is to continue offering the fair monthly to provide 4 workdays per week to these entrepreneurs. The Grupo Quepos team is very grateful to the interns for their support and bringing life to this project!

Check out this short video of the fair
