Service Inspired Restaurants Sends out the Call to Students for Placement Opportunities

On Monday, October 18th, the Longo Faculty of Business Work Integrated Learning Centre welcomed Janine Gervais, Director Operational Support & Process Improvement.

Janine facilitated a presentation highlighting the plentiful job and placement opportunities currently available at the various Service Inspired Restaurant (SIR Corp) brands. The proud Canadian company, comprised of Jack Astor’s, Scaddabush, Reds, Canyon Creek, Duke’s Refresher Bar, and The Loose Moose, shared details about what makes each brand exciting. Students from the Hospitality, Culinary, and Baking & Pastry programs, were able to gain a new perspective on the potential career paths available and were able to identify potential paths for themselves within this ever-expanding company. The presentation opened students’ eyes, to the opportunities for growth within this very successful Canadian company.
