Moxies Restaurants & Chop Steakhouse Bar Recruitment Blitz Sparks Excitement

The Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) team welcomed Moxies Senior Training & Development Manager, Anthony Marichisello, and multi-unit General Manager, Amy Woodhouse to campus for a pop-up recruitment blitz on March 30th to promote opportunities with Moxies Restaurant and Chop Steakhouse & Bar locations.

As a graduate of the Hospitality – Hotel and Restaurant Operations Management program and an upcoming graduate of the Hospitality and Tourism Operations Management program, Anthony was eager to connect with his fellow Humber students. His primary objective was to showcase the diverse front and back-of-house positions that Moxies has to offer. Both Anthony and Amy were delighted by the overwhelming response from students, as well as the genuine enthusiasm they displayed throughout the event.

Of particular interest to students was Anthony's inspiring journey within the Moxies organization. They were thrilled to discover that Anthony's successful career path had initially taken root during his WIL placement with the company a mere few years ago. This revelation further ignited their aspirations and fuelled hopes for their own promising futures with Moxies.

The event not only served as a platform for engagement but also laid the groundwork for potential hires in the near future. With such a high level of interest and the calibre of talent on display, expectations are high for many successful recruitments resulting from the pop-up recruitment blitz.
