Work-Integrated Learning Hosts Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP

Longo Faculty of Business WIL Centre has a long-standing partnership with the law firm, Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP and on Thursday, February 17, 2022, Kathy Tapper, Manager, Legal Secretarial Support at Osler, delivered an engaging and informative virtual presentation to Law Clerk Diploma and Paralegal Degree students. She shared tips regarding the application process for WIL and new grad opportunities while encouraging students to reach out to her directly for queries, networking, and application purposes.

Students learned about marketing themselves during the hiring process and excelling in the Legal Assistant and Law Clerk roles within the firm. Ms. Tapper ended the discussion on a reassuring note, stating that this cohort of students is entering the workforce at a great time as their firm, as well as many other Bay Street firms, have several opportunities for junior positions.
