Marriott Promotes Paid Internships and Leadership Program

The Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) Centre hosted Ellis Luo, Marriott Canada Manager of University Relations and Recruiting, and Pamela Stewart, Toronto Airport Marriott Hotel Food and Beverage Operations Manager, for two presentations on February 6th.

The well-attended presentations showcased the endless opportunities for hospitality and culinary students to grow their careers with Marriott. The Marriott team shared information about paid internships (WIL opportunities) as well as the seamless transition students can make from their internships to the Voyage Leadership Development program - an award-winning global leadership development program offering resources and support for future leaders of the company across Marriott's hotel brands upon graduation.

The Marriott team was impressed with the enthusiasm displayed by the students in attendance, many of whom made direct connections following the presentation to expedite their applications.
