Work Integrated Learning Team Hosts its 2nd Virtual Career Fair

On November 9th and 10th, the Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) team hosted its 2nd Virtual Career Fair.


The event on the 9th united employers with students from the Hospitality, Events, Tourism, Culinary, Baking, Sport & Recreation, Golf Management, and Healthcare programs while the November 10th event was focused on the Marketing, Advertising, HR, Accounting, Finance, Digital, Fashion, Fundraising, Supply Chain, Insurance, and Management programs.

Nearly 180 employers participated in the successful two-day event. Notable industry partners included JW Marriott, Friday Harbour, Canadian Premier League, Compass Group, TD, intact Financial Corporation, Ernst & Young and Randstad.

Over 800 students attended the event leveraging online virtual meeting platforms and the Humber Career Connect system to engage directly with employers through group chat sessions. Students learned about different companies, received coaching, and applied for WIL and job opportunities during this valuable job search experience.
