An Example Of A Summer Abroad Program in Finland

Each year JAMK University of Applied Sciences welcomes approximately 200 students from around the world for an intensive 3-week international summer school program in beautiful Jyväskylä, Finland. This exciting opportunity is open to all currently enrolled Humber students in good academic standing! Degree-level subject areas include tourism, international business, marketing, and culture and language.

Accommodations:

  • Location: City Centre – 10 minutes walking distance from JAMK
  • Description: Shared twin room, bathroom
  • Includes: Finnish buffet breakfast each morning; internet connection; housekeeping daily; 24/7 reception services; TV in the room

Not Included

  • Airfare 
  • Incidentals, spending money, lunch and dinner 
  • Baggage and trip cancellation insurance 
  • Travel health insurance outside of the program dates 
  • Students who are not Canadian citizens may be required to apply for an entry visa for the European Union 
  • Humber transfer credit fees ($25.00 per course, upon completion)
