STUDENTS AND ALUMNI ATTEND "CELEBRATING YOUR SUCCESS" PARALEGAL NETWORKING EVENT

Celebrating Your Success, a paralegal networking and reunion event, took place in the Humber Room on Thursday, May 23, 2019. Approximately 85 students from the Paralegal Education program and the Paralegal Graduate Certificate program who will be graduating in 2019 attended this year’s event in order to learn more about some of the unique and interesting opportunities in the paralegal field. A number of recent graduates were also invited to attend and six paralegal alumni shared their job hunt journeys and work experiences. The presentations included experiences in running a paralegal firm, working as a municipal Privacy Officer, working as a Litigation Paralegal for large car company and working in the field of alternative dispute resolution. These Humber alumni have been very successful in their chosen professions and it was incredibly inspiring for upcoming and recent graduates to gain some new insight and tips about working in the paralegal field.
