This weekend, 1st year Julie Alsayed, and 3rd year Anya Lomako, represented Humber College at DECA U Provincial Conference. The conference is a post-secondary division of DECA, which is an international professional development program where members compete and network with like-minded young professionals in every field of business.
Humber competed in the Advertising Campaign Challenge (ADC) and took home a 2nd place medal out of a total of 14 universities and colleges competing in the Ad Campaign Challenge across the province.
Our team also secured a spot at the International International Career Development Conference (ICDC) on April 19th - 22nd, 2017 in Anaheim, California.
Humber had many successful delegates beginning with the Lakeshore team winning 3rd place over Ottawa U in Quiz Bowl to make it to the quarter-finals, and winning the overall Largest Chapter Expansion Award.
