On Friday, April 29th 70 Chinese students graduated from the Humber-Ningbo and Humber-Jimei Programs. It was also an extra special celebration as Humber College and Ningbo University celebrate the 20th anniversary of their joint partnership program.

The Humber-Ningbo program, which began in 1996, is the college's longest-standing international partnership. Humber entered a similar partnership with Jimei University in Xiamen in 2006. As of this year, the programs have produced more than 1,500 graduates.
The first two years of the three-year program take place in China where students are taught core business classes by Humber faculty. Students come to Humber for the final year of their studies.
April 29th marked the end of the 20th group’s time at Humber and was celebrated by a graduation-style ceremony complete with valedictorian address, lion dancing and a lunch featuring traditional Ningbo cuisine.
