October 10, 2017
On October 1st and 2nd, 2017, three students from Humber's Fashion Management programs participated in the Canadian Retail Educators Association's inaugural Retail Charrette.
The 2017 CREA Charrette is an intensive, interdisciplinary, team-learning experience held during Retail Week at the Ted Rogers School of Retail Management. Teams were challenged with a complex problem related to the Downtown Yonge Business Improvement Area. Veronika Kizhlo (Fashion Management, Bachelor of Commerce), Diliana Karaleva (Fashion Management and Promotions) and Mananshi Patel (Fashion Arts and Business) participated alongside students from Ryerson University, Fanshawe and Seneca Colleges. Bruce Sinclair, Program Coordinator, Bachelor of Commerce – Fashion Management acted as a mentor to the Charrette groups.
The event was a great success and we hope to encourage more students to participate next year. Pictured are Veronika Kizhlo and Diliana Karaleva.
