Nabeel Mandahawi, a professor of Supply Chain Management, along with his co-authors Mariam Bader, Omar Al-Araidah, and Al Theeb, published a book titled “A Study of Deficiencies in Teamwork Skills among Healthcare Caregivers using Total Quality Management”, published in April by LAP LAMBERT Academic.
In this book, the authors investigate the factors that influence teamwork in the healthcare sector in order to suggest improvement strategies using TQM principles. Furthermore, the study sheds evident light on the importance for planning strategies to improve teamwork and collaborative relationships among healthcare providers at all levels to reduce medical errors and enhance staff satisfaction as well as perceptions of quality of patient care.
