Students in the Fashion Management degree program completed their capstone course this past spring. The course was a major undertaking for the students, as they had to apply the knowledge, skills and experience they acquired throughout their years of study.
On Thursday, June 1st, the Humber Fashion Arts and Business Diploma program hosted workshops for the Youth Enrichment Program students from Holy Cross and St. Mary’s high school.

On May 2nd, 2017, Divya M., a Business Management student, and Shawn M., a Business Administration student, represented the Humber Business School at the Skills Ontario Competition held at the Toronto Congress Centre.
To end this past semester, the Business School held their inaugural Business Administration Alumni Project Give Back event for the current Business Administration class.
From April 19-22nd, Humber degree students from the Lakeshore DECA-U chapter attended the International Career Development Conference (ICDC) in Anaheim, California.

The FCBB held a networking event and awarded the Business School with the 2017 FCBB Award of Excellence.
On April 15th, the Humber Human Resources Society, a student-run and elected committee that arranges campus events, organized an alumni panel discussion titled, Life After Humber, for the Human Resources Management graduating class.
This year, students from 11 selling classes in 8 separate Business School programs participated in the Marlies Ticket Sales Program raising a record $30,938 for Camp Oochigeas, a camp for children cancer.
