This summer 2016 window display celebrates our ongoing relationship with our generous corporate sponsor TJX Canada.
Mannequins sporting bold tropical printed fashions by Roberto Cavalli, courtesy of Winners and HomeSense, were surrounded by an array of brightly coloured glass vases and giant palm leaves. A plethora of rubber snakes cornered an unsuspecting mannequin and hung from the ceiling grid clutching snake skin purses to add an element of surprise and whimsy to this elegant display.
Students coordinated the photo shoot and followed through with the window installation process over a three month period to complete the entire scope of this project.
Challenges encountered included the fragile nature of the fabulous glass vases and providing enough support for our over the top beautiful hand made head pieces courtesy of Sebastian Blagdon.
A special thanks to Keith Burlton, Manager, Creative Store Design, TJX Canada and Natasha Reichen, Campus Talent Acquistion Manager, TJX Canada, for their continued support of this creative partnership.
