On Wednesday, November 21 2018, students were given the opportunity to practice and refine their interviewing skills with Placement Advisors from The Business School Placement Centre.
The Business School Placement Centre is proud of its strong partnership with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). On Thursday, November 22, 2018, the CRA paid a visit to over 120 students from various business programs.
On Wednesday, November 28, 2018, the Placement Centre held an Information Session highlighting recruitment in the banking sector, featuring Ujaan Das, Fraud Analyst with RBC. Over 100 students from many programs across The Business School participated in the session.

On March 16, The Placement Centre hosted a Paralegal Networking Breakfast Event for the Paralegal Education diploma program students at the North Campus. Over 90 students and 17 employers attended the event.
On March 9th, The Business School’s Placement Centre, in collaboration with the Bachelor of Applied Arts – Paralegal Studies program, hosted a networking event for the Paralegal Degree students to connect with professionals and market their legal skills.

On Thursday, September 22, the Humber College Business School Placement Centre hosted their signature Employer Appreciation event. Over 110 employers who have supported student success through placement activity attended the Lakeshore Commons for an engaging evening of acknowledgement and celebration.
The HBC (Hudson’s Bay Company) Lunch & Learn took place on September 15, 2016, in L 1017 at Humber Lakeshore Campus. The Placement Centre worked alongside Humber Career Services to host Natalie and Chelsea from Hudson’s Bay Careers as they delivered a well-developed info-session on career prospects with HBC’s Executive Training Programs.
