Ontario Internship Program Information Session

On November 8th, The Business School Placement Centre hosted Michael Theriault, Program Consultant at the Treasury Board Secretariat for an information session about the Ontario Internship Program.

The hour-long session was attended by over 50 students from various programs at the Lakeshore Campus. The session began with a presentation from Michael informing students about the features of the Ontario Internship Program, which is recognized as a great opportunity for graduates or soon-to-be graduates to start and develop their careers.

The areas of internship were being offered in Business and Financial Planning, Communications, Human Resources, Information and Information Technology, Labour Relations, Policy Development, and Program and Service Delivery.

Students were then invited to a Q&A for the second half of the session and on conclusion were given added information about the website where students can additional resources about this opportunity.
