Business - Marketing

Program Overview

Organizations, both profit and non-profit, are engaged in intense competition for customers, audiences and clients. Marketing is a mixture of science and art through which organizations can succeed or fail. Marketing is an essential component for professional marketers such as social media analysts, sales representatives, retailers, advertising personnel, marketing researchers, new-product managers and many others. The Business Marketing certificate program is designed to enable you to understand modern marketing in today's competitive marketplace.

Course Offerings

Courses in the Marketing Studies certificate use the same course codes as our common platform diploma programs which have in-class and online offerings. For more information on how to register for courses please contact cplbusiness@humber.ca

Students will participate in an 84 hour field placement experience in their final semester of study. With support from a placement advisor, and a student-employer placement portal, students will source, apply, and secure a field placement to provide industry experience in the marketing area(s) that interest them. This valuable experience will help increase job readiness.

Professional Accreditations & Recognition

Canadian Professional Sales Associate (CPSA)

The program is recognized by Canadian Professional Sales Association (CPSA) as an accredited education partner. Courses from Accredited Partners can be applied toward earning or maintaining your CPSA Institute professional designations.

Additional requirements may apply.

Note: The requirements for the additional credential(s) are determined by the granting body, which is independent from the College. Students are encouraged to obtain the specific requirements directly from the granting body before enrolling.
