Advancement Opportunities from Business Certificates to Diplomas

Humber’s Business certificate programs are designed to give you a strong foundation and a head start. Many of our one-year certificate programs allow you to transfer credits directly into a diploma or advanced diploma through common platform courses.

If you’ve completed a Humber Business certificate, you may be eligible to receive credit for select courses when you move into a two- or three-year diploma program.

To apply to a full-time program, please go to ontariocolleges.ca and choose Semester 1 of the full-time program. Course equivalencies will be assessed and applied once you have confirmed your offer and are registered in the program.

Please note: Currency requirements may apply based on the date and age of your CPL course. Please speak to your program coordinator if you do not see the courses on your new full-time schedule.

Use the chart below to see which certificates transfer into which programs, what types of courses are eligible, and how your progress can count toward a longer credential.

Your next credential may be closer than you think.
