This program is designed to offer Humber College students with a meaningful and challenging experience of culinary arts and baking & pastry from an international perspective. Coursework features a combination of lectures, labs, and experiential learning hours that take place within the community projects of FUA’s hospitality division – Ganzo School Restaurant and Fedora School Pastry Shop – which are fully operated by students and faculty and open to the general public from Monday to Friday.
Students are immersed in career situations from the first day of class, with courses designed on the basis of real world, hands-on projects and the latest industry input. Strong experiential education opportunities, interdisciplinary activities and active engagement with the community are essential for the school learning strategy.
Each program is designed so that students gain the knowledge and skills to succeed in this sophisticated ever-changing industry. Exact program details subject to change.
