The curriculum is designed to provide the educational foundation for a career in human resources management.

Professional Accreditation

Humber offers a fully accredited Human Resources Certificate program, recognized by the Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA) as their coursework requirement. This program includes the nine courses required by HRPA as part of their coursework requirement to write the Comprehensive Knowledge Exam 1 (CKE1) towards CHRP designation.

HRPA requires that a Job Ready Program and an Employment Law exam must also be successfully completed. Detailed information can be found at hrpa.ca/hr-designations/about-hr-designations#DesignationRequirements.

More information about all three HRPA designations can be found at hrpa.ca/hr-designations/about-hr-designations.

Note: The requirements for the additional credential(s) are determined by the granting body, which is independent of the college. Students are encouraged to obtain the specific requirements directly from the granting body before enrolling.

I liked that I was able to learn at my own pace and that live sessions were recorded and saved for students to view at a later date. This allowed me to access them on my own time and I was still able to work full-time without interruption to my work schedule.
