Third-year Bachelor of Commerce - Marketing students partnered with Kintrace for the inaugural Build-a-Legacy Creative Marketing Challenge. Over the course of October and November, student teams worked intensively to develop marketing strategies for Kintrace’s upcoming MVP launch, gaining valuable real-world experience while contributing fresh insights to a growing startup.
The challenge culminated in an exciting pitch finale, where teams presented their strategies to Kintrace leaders and Humber judges. The Grand Prize winners each earned $525, along with exclusive internship opportunities and 1:1 mentorship.
Participants gained entrepreneurship training, industry mentorship, and the chance to collaborate in a fast-paced, hands-on environment—while making a meaningful impact on a real business. A big thank-you to Emily Gaszynski Adams, Program Coordinator, Bachelor of Commerce - Marketing, for her incredible support of the student pitch teams.
In the end, students enjoyed the exercise and learned that Copilot cannot always provide accurate calculations for complex media buying tasks.
