Bachelor of Commerce – Marketing students played a key role in promoting the annual Golf Pop-Up Event, hosted by Professional Golf Management - Business Administration students as part of their Professional Selling course.
Over the course of the Winter semester, marketing students met with golf students to learn more about the event’s planning and objectives. This collaboration allowed marketing students to develop and implement a comprehensive promotional strategy tailored to the pop-up's goals.
The final strategy included social media content to drive awareness ahead of the event, along with activation zones designed to attract and engage foot traffic on the day of the pop-up.
The project offered valuable hands-on experience in retail execution, event marketing, and content creation, allowing students to apply their classroom learning in a real-world setting. The cross-program collaboration between Marketing and Professional Golf Management students was a highlight of the experience, showcasing the strength of interdisciplinary teamwork at Humber.
