Students Explore Career Pathways in Media through IPG Mediabrands Residency Program

Advertising - Media Management and Marketing Management students from Humber Polytechnic's Downtown and Lakeshore campuses attended an information session—both in-person and virtual—on IPG Mediabrands' The Residency 2025 program. This paid trainee initiative offers forward-thinking graduates a direct path into the media industry with one of the world’s leading media networks.

Launched in 2017, The Residency is an industry-leading program providing recent graduates with a full-time, permanent position that includes a 16-week experiential learning period. Residents receive hands-on experience across key areas of media and advertising, with a curriculum tailored to foster continuous growth. They develop essential industry knowledge, professional skills, and foundational business acumen to set the stage for a successful career in media.

Participants in the program have the chance to work with prominent global agencies, including UM, Initiative, Media Experts, KINESSO, Mediabrands Content Studio, Orion, Magna, and IPG Mediabrands, providing them with invaluable exposure to real-world projects and industry leaders.
