Volunteer Management Leadership

Program Overview

Humber College is pleased to present the longest-running program in volunteer management in Canada's non-profit sector. This program is a comprehensive guide to developing and managing a strong volunteer team. It teaches the foundations of volunteer management based on best practices and addresses the building blocks that lead to a strong and engaged volunteer team. You will learn strategies for planning, developing, evaluating and leading relationships to engage all stakeholders.

Admission Requirements:  There are no admission requirements for this program.  Register and pay for courses individually.

Certificate Criteria:  3 compulsory courses. Courses must be done in order. 

VMLC201 Foundations of Volunteer Management
VMLC202 Building Leadership Capacity (pre-requisite: VMLC201)
VMLC203 Leadership and Planning Strategies (pre-requisite:VMLC201 & VMLC202)
