Students Experience the Business of Sport

As part of the first-semester learning experience, Sport Business Management students visited the National Hockey League (NHL) offices in Toronto to gain valuable insights from executives in professional sport.

It was an incredible learning opportunity that included engaging discussions with the NHL, NBA Canada and Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment executives.

Students gathered in the NHL boardroom to hear from each organization. Later, each student completed a report that summarized key learnings and analyzed several business initiatives within the organizations from both a fan point of view and a business perspective.
