On April 7th, Humber Polytechnic’s Lakeshore Campus came alive as current students and faculty welcomed back alumni for the Human Resources Management Alumni Meet 2025, and what an inspiring day it was.

A special thank you to our alumni, Shalina Vighio B.Sc., CHRP, Sarah Badali, Francis Lardizabal, John McCallum, Diyaa Ashrafee, Johnny Petrusa, Ian Hope, Rebecca Pollice, Rosanna Chatlani, Alejandro Santa Cruz, Olena Chemij, who generously gave one of the most valuable things anyone can offer, their time.

From candid career stories to round table networking that brought inspirational energy into real life, the event was packed with meaningful conversations and invaluable connections. Our alumni panellists shared lessons rooted in real experience—humorous, honest, and deeply insightful. Their stories reminded students that career growth is rarely linear, and real-world wisdom often starts with small, unexpected moments.

A special moment of the day was when everyone came together to pay tribute to Professor Stan Arnold, joining in his iconic “Yes Chant”—a tradition that united and uplifted the Human Resources students community at Humber during Professor Arnold’s time.

A huge shoutout to our incredible student volunteers—Patrice Whyte, Jashah Alloysius, Crisabel Hobbs-Barrett, Om Patil, Upkar Hundal, and Kayla Pavao—for bringing this event to life with heart, hustle, and professionalism. Your energy made the day memorable for everyone involved.
