Event Management Field Trip Fosters Hands-on Learning Experience
Hospitality - Event Management students spent the day at three event-based companies for an industry field trip.
The students visited AV Canada - a technology-driven company offering clients a blend of audiovisual production and technology implementation services, D&D Party Rentals - a family-owned business supplying rentals for weddings for over forty years and Junto Studios, a POC, women and queer-owned photography studio and event space.
Students recieved hands-on experience setting up an event, tours of warehouses and storerooms, and a surprise announcement of two internships exclusively for Humber students from D&D Party Rentals.
