A panel of Healthcare Management alumni addressed over 40 current students and alumni on the state of the industry, the evolution of the job market, graduate school opportunities, managing placements, tips to obtain better positions, and mistakes to avoid on the job.

Professor Gavin Wardle moderated the virtual panel, which included three professionals in hospital systems, one university researcher, and two students enrolled in master’s degrees.

Participants had the opportunity to ask questions to panelists following the exchanges. Third-year student participants heading to work-integrated learning terms in the summer of 2025 felt the panel provided extremely helpful ideas and leads for their job searches.
