Fundraising Management Students Welcomes Guest Speaker

Fundraising Management postgraduate students received the opportunity to learn how fundraisers work with partners to scale social impact initiatives with Susan Hallsworth, Partnership Director at LEAP - Pecault Centre for Social Impact.

Susan shared how she brings philanthropic partners together with their collaborators; BCG, EY, McCarthy Tetrault, Google, Hill & Knowlton, and the Offord Group to help social initiatives. LEAP's model seeks to help scale up proven local socially impactful initiatives to take them to the next level. An example of this includes Stop Now And Plan (SNAP), an evidence-based, trauma-informed model that teaches children with disruptive behaviors how to make better choices in the moment. LEAP and their team worked in collaboration with SNAP to contribute to doubling growth and therefore helping more children and their families.
