Culinary Management Student Wins Scholarship
Culinary Management diploma student, Aida Yahyapour, recently received a $2,000 scholarship sponsored by the Canadian Hospitality Foundation (CHF).
The CHF scholarship is presented to students who wish to pursue a career in the hospitality, foodservice and tourism industry across Canada.
As a 2019 recipient of the scholarship, Aida was invited to the CHF Red Door Benefit Gala at Hotel X, a scholarship awards ceremony organized to recognize and support the next generation of foodservice.
While the attendees didn’t get a chance to hear from all the award winners, Aida spoke on their behalf on stage expressing gratitude. Aida’s goal is to open a new restaurant with her classmate and husband, Imre.
