Brigette McCabe is a Director of Content at Tonal, an American-based fitness and technology company. She is a driven digital marketer who has built her career on her passion for content, collaboration, and leadership.
Brigette graduated from the Business Marketing diploma program in 2014. While studying at Humber, she participated in the Integrated Marketing category of the Ontario Colleges Marketing Competition (OCMC). Upon graduation, Brigette started her career at TD as a coordinator. Her marketing skills were identified early and she was promoted consistently every year or two from Client Analyst to Manager, Lifecycle Marketing to Manager, and finally Content & SEO to Senior Manager of Enterprise Content, before embarking on her next adventure outside of the financial industry.
Brigette loves the range of topics and influences from the marketing field - finding new and creative ways to reach the right people at the right time and delivering products and messages that they'll find useful. She believes it’s a balance between the art of words and images, married with the science of psychology and sales.
In her role as Director of Content, her team focuses on creating confidence and clarity for Tonal members as well as the Care Advocates who support them online and over the phone. The goal is to make every member feel excited by their purchase and employee to feel supported in their work.
Brigette is also passionate about community involvement and has formerly supported the Bruce Trail Conservancy as their Director of Communications, allowing her to blend her love of words and outreach with her passion for hitting the trails in her downtime.
Now, she is interested in sharing her digital-marketing knowledge with young marketing professionals and will be taking up her first instructor posting in the winter semester of 2023. Brigette will be teaching Introduction to Content Strategy, Special Topics in Content 1 & 2, and mentoring the Interaction Design Studio courses as part of the Content Strategy graduate program.
