Humber Polytechnic’s Human Resources (HR) team demonstrated outstanding skill and expertise at the 2025 Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA) Student Case Competition. Representing the Bachelor of Commerce – Human Resources Management degree program, students Ezgi Melis Demircan, Shina Shina, Alexander Atahue, Pankti Panchal and Himani Kant, from years two, three, and four, collaborated to tackle a complex strategic case within a tight two-hour timeframe.

Leveraging their business acumen, HR knowledge, and practical work experience, the team showcased their abilities in analytical and critical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and presentation. This high-pressure competition provided a dynamic applied learning experience, reinforcing key Humber Learning Outcomes (HLOs) and preparing students for real-world HR challenges.

A special thanks to Michelle Souilliere, Program Coordinator of the Bachelor of Commerce – Human Resources Management degree program, for organizing and coaching the team.

Congratulations to these dedicated students on their impressive performance!
