On February 3, Human Resource Management (HRM) students participated in a thought-provoking and informative HRM Industry Panel Event at the Lakeshore Campus. The event featured a diverse panel of recent alumni, HR leaders, and industry experts, offering students a unique opportunity to gain insights into the evolving world of human resources.

The panel discussion covered a range of topics, including strategies for securing work-integrated field placements and first jobs, standing out in a competitive job market, labor trends, and the growing influence of AI in HR and the workplace. The session provided students with practical advice and fostered an engaging exchange of ideas, helping them better understand the challenges and opportunities in the HR field.

Following the Q&A, students and panelists connected during a networking session, where they further discussed career paths, shared experiences, and built professional relationships.

The event was made possible thanks to the contributions of panelists Sarita M. Naidoo, Olivia Raposo, Olivia Zima, Gabrielle Ann (Gabby) Licerio, Rafael Gomez, Erin Haig, CHRL, Maura Dyer, and Rumina Ratansi, CHRL, CCA, CCL. A Special thanks to Dr. Linda Jin-Troendle, Associate Dean, for her warm welcome and ongoing support of this annual event.
