Last month, Fashion Management postgraduate students, together with the Interpretive Centre launched #ChangeIsFashion, an Instagram initiative focused on the history of the Fashion Institute. The six series highlights the history of the Fashion Institute building dating back to 1890 along with fashion trends in different decades.
Each week, an image of the building during a particular period along with a fashion image was posted. The content was intended to invite people to visit the Fashion Institute during Open House but will now be replaced by a Virtual Open house instead due to the current situation around COVID-19. The Open House will be hosted by students on the Fashion Management postgraduate program's Instagram account instead.
