Supporting Orange Shirt Day

Held every year on September 30th, Orange Shirt Day encourages Canadians to listen, learn, and remember those impacted by the Residential School System. It is a day when we honour the Indigenous children who were sent away to residential schools in Canada and learn more about the history behind it.

This year, Humber College’s Indigenous Education and Engagement department ordered orange shirts for staff and faculty to show their support, all emblazoned with recent Bachelor of Commerce – Fashion Management graduate, Marissa Groulx’s design.
