Historically, this event was conducted in person, but this year was organized using MS Teams. Over 200 students had the opportunity to network in small groups with industry professionals from all sectors in the Event Management industry. Students were able to connect in a meaningful way with industry professionals to learn about their career paths, current roles, and responsibilities and also interact through a Q&A session.
The hands-on and informative approach provided a rich and insightful learning experience for students. All students had at least one evaluation to complete based on what they had learned from the event.
A team effort from Faculty, Program Support Officers, senior leadership, and the dedication of the Industry Program Advisory Committee made the event a huge success.
