HLOs:
In Spring 2024, the conclusion of an enriching academic year was marked by the successful completion of studies for six students at Humber as part of a long-standing partnership with the National Kaohsiung University of Hospitality and Tourism (NKUHT).
These students, specializing in Baking and Pastry Arts Management, Culinary Management, or Hospitality – Hotel and Restaurant Operations Management completed their academic requirements and are set to embark on their summer work-integrated learning (WIL) placements at hotels in Alberta and British Columbia. We wish them all the best as they gain Canadian work experience against the backdrop of picturesque locales!
Additionally, the Longo Faculty of Business awaits three new students' arrival for a specialized summer orientation, paving the way for their entry into the same programs. Furthermore, preparations are underway for introducing a new stream to the Recreation and Leisure Services program in 2025, offering exciting prospects for prospective students.
Looking ahead to 2025, international programs will offer interested students from Event Management, Hospitality – Hotel and Restaurant Operations Management, and Travel Services Management programs the opportunity to pursue studies at NKUHT in their fourth semester. Students will complete their studies and WIL placement in eighteen weeks while gaining a transformative cultural experience.
