The Longo Family Be Your Own Boss (BYOB) March Break Program is accepting applications from high school students interested in exploring entrepreneurship, creativity, leadership, and innovation. This free, four-day program will run from March 16–19, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Humber Polytechnic’s Downtown Campus.
Designed for students with any level of experience, the hands-on program guides participants through the process of developing real business ideas. Over the course of the week, students will take part in workshops, research, prototyping, and team-based activities, while also earning up to 20 community service hours toward their high school requirement.
Participants will have the opportunity to compete in a video pitch competition for a share of $6,500 in prizes. They will also be eligible to submit an application for a $1,500 scholarship connected to the program.
The BYOB March Break Program is open to all high school grade levels and is completely free to attend. Educators, parents, and community members are encouraged to share this opportunity with students who may be interested. For more information, contact sahana.srikandarajah@humber.ca.
