Students from Fashion Arts and Business, Fashion Management, Fashion Management and Promotions Post-grad program, Cosmetics Management and Creative Photography gathered to combine their creative talents at Silverline Studios on April 6, 7 and 8, 2018 for three very long intense days.
Thirty-six, two-hour photo shoots were coordinated by Professor Kim Rich from the Fashion Arts and Business program and Aihzra Zelaya, a Cosmetics Management student. Models were provided by Elmer Olsen Model Management.
Concepts were very diverse, ranging from powerful NASCAR-inspired fashion concepts to "Embrace Lace" themes, full of feminine blush, coloured lace and floral touches.
Student Art Directors: Ciara Clancy (Ravens and Roses), Sebastian Blagdon (Embrace Lace) and Alicia Gervais (NASCAR) led their creative teams through the entire process.
Student Art Directors will have their work showcased at The Fashion Institute, 3166 Lakeshore Blvd. West, in a 55-foot-wide streetfront window display over the next few months. Window signing will credit all of the students who were involved in the creative process.
