Humber Triumphs at ACE Canada Nationals 2024 Case Competition
HLOs: 
ACE (Achieve, Connect, Empower) Humber, formerly known as Humber DECA, clinched victory in the RBC Insurance Challenge category at the ACE Canada Nationals 2024 Case Competition. This accomplishment marks a significant milestone for the organization, which focuses on cultivating the leadership and entrepreneurial skills of aspiring business professionals through case competitions.
With a delegation of six representatives, ACE Humber competed against over five hundred students from seventeen chapters nationwide.
The Longo Centre for Entrepreneurship (CfE) congratulates all participants on their exceptional achievements including:
- Business Administration student, Joshua Dsouza, who claimed top honours in the RBC Insurance Challenge category, demonstrating remarkable skill despite competing solo against teams of up to four members.
- Bachelor of Commerce – Finance student, Franco Machado, for securing second place in the Accounting and Corporate Finance category.
- Bachelor of Commerce – Digital Business Management student, Ozias Cantos as well as Business Management students Raul Singh and Yashvee Jaitoo for their commendable performances.
The Longo CfE takes pride in acknowledging Joshua's success as the President of ACE Humber and eagerly anticipates his role as an advisor to the group, alongside the incoming president, Ozias Cantos.
The Longo CfE also reaffirms its steadfast support for the ACE Humber student group which consists of a group of students who embody professionalism, innovative thinking, and effective communication.
