Guest Speaker Shares Practical Job Search Tips

The Longo Faculty of Business Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) Centre is proud to continue its partnership with the esteemed law firm, Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP. On February 2nd and 3rd, the WIL Centre hosted a virtual guest speaker event featuring Kathy Tapper, Manager of Legal Secretarial Support at Osler. During her presentation, Kathy shared valuable insights with students enrolled in the Law Clerk diploma and Bachelor of Paralegal Studies degree programs; providing them with practical tips on the application process for WIL and new graduate opportunities.

Kathy encouraged students to engage with her directly, offered to answer questions, facilitated networking, and provided support throughout the application process. The students gained a deeper understanding of how to market themselves effectively during the hiring process and succeed in Legal Assistant and Law Clerk roles within the firm.
