Alumna Emphasizes the Importance of Accountability on Job Searching
On October 15th, the Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) Centre hosted Humber alumna Nakeisha Geddes, Co-founder, and Director of Beyond Services - Choice Matters Inc.
Nakeisha spoke to students about accountability and how identifying and holding oneself accountable is integral to job searching. She inspired attendees to look within themselves to find their own ideas of success and encouraged accountability for their goals. Students were given tips on how to use their skills in accountability to build networks and further their careers.
The event was a success and inspired students to set goals for their placement search.
