Virtual Networking Hour Connects Students to Industry Professionals
Second-year Sport Management students took part in a Virtual Networking Hour hosted by Professors Sherri Branscombe and Cecily Clarke in their Career Development course. Twenty-three industry guests from various sports organizations participated in the event to network with the students.
Students worked hard in class to learn how to build authentic relationships and engaging conversations with industry professionals. With the uncertainty of what to expect, the students emerged from the event feeling accomplished and confident in their ability to practice networking skills in a real setting.
