Law Clerk Students Get The Goodmans Experience

Goodmans LLP, one of Canada’s premier transaction law firms, hosted “A Day in the Life at Goodmans” event on March 3, 2020. Select Law Clerk students from colleges across the Greater Toronto Area were invited to attend the event.

Humber Law Clerk diploma students, Amanda Arnott, Ashley Fox-Corlett, Amy Huynh and Anh Nguyen, attended the semiannual event. The evening commenced with a warm welcome as well as a wine and cheese mix and mingle, where some of the Legal Assistants and HR Representatives spent time answering questions about their experiences and their roles at Goodmans. The students attended presentations about the firm’s onboarding process, the people and culture, and a tour of the Litigation Department.

Goodmans representatives shared details about upcoming employment opportunities and plan to follow up with students regarding their suitability for those positions. The prestigious firm has been a long-time supporter of Humber, providing networking, placement, and post-graduation employment opportunities for Humber students and alumni.
