A group of fourth-year International Business students achieved an honourable mention in the finals of the 2023 Safe Roads Competition. The team, consisting of Julia De Azevedo Barboza, Luis Gonzalez, Borys Honchar, Anel Khabibollayeva, Paula Peralta Saboya, Evgeniya Volkova, and Jordan Wong, was recognized for their exceptional critical thinking and data analytical skills.
The Safe Roads Competition is an annual event hosted by SAS Canada, the Toronto Police Service, and Geotab Inc., and is open to university and college students in Canada and Mexico. The competition, which took place from January 27th to March 10th, focuses on data analytics and aims to promote innovative solutions to improve road safety.
Their achievement is a testament to their dedication and hard work in utilizing their knowledge of international business and data analytics to tackle real-world challenges.
