International Business Student Joins Afro Canadian Chamber of Commerce

Fourth-year Bachelor of Commerce International Business student, Lionel Campbell, has recently joined the executive of the Afro Canadian Chamber of Commerce (ACCC) as Secretary of Marketing & Administration.

The objective of the ACCC is to serve small and medium-sized Afro-Canadian owned businesses or other entrepreneurial start-ups. It also aims to connect Black Businesses in Canada to each other, to the broader Canadian market, and the African diaspora (e.g., continental Africa, the Caribbean, South America, and anywhere else that Black people live).

Lionel and the International Business Association invited all International Business students to attend the official launch of the ACCC on November 17th. The event featured an inspiring speech by guest Parliamentary Secretary to the President of the Treasury Board and the Minister of Digital Government, MP Greg Fergus.
