President of RIBO Speaks to Humber Insurance Students!

Recently Patrick Ballantyne, President of the Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario (RIBO) gave an inspiring presentation as a guest lecturer to Insurance Management students at Humber College.

The presentation covered the importance of RIBO and how it supports the independent broker channel and the insurance industry. Patrick also spoke about the importance of ethics in the insurance industry and in the independent broker channel.

The presentation was excellent, and students loved it. One student’s comment was “One of the highlights of this program is our ability to hear from industry thought leaders like Patrick. This presentation was excellent!”

The presentation was extremely timely considering that 80% of the program students will be writing their Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario (RIBO) Level 1 license shortly and pursuing exciting careers in the independent broker channel.

This is the second year that both RIBO and the Insurance Management Program have partnered to have RIBO speak to the next group of inspiring insurance professionals.
