Ontario Insurance Management Society Event a Real Success!
On October 18, 2022, the Ontario Insurance Risk Management (ORIMS) visited Humber College to conduct a risk management day with Insurance Management students! The day was a huge success.
The ORIMS event was attended by a series of risk management professionals and thought leaders who mentored and coached students through an interactive risk management case study. These professionals included:

ORIMS also supplied a delicious lunch and arranged for a professional photographer to take professional headshots of students for their LinkedIn profiles. In addition, ORIMS extended complimentary membership to insurance management students for both the ORIMS and RIMS society.

ORIMS is the largest chapter of the RIMS (Risk Insurance Management Society) which is the leading organization in the world with members in North America and Japan. Incorporated in 1960 it has over 360 corporate and 290 Associate members in the risk management industry. ORIMS has also worked hard to engage and inform college programs about risk management by conducting ongoing informative webinars on topics such as cyber risk, speed mentoring events, and in offering several student placement opportunities.
