Insurance Management Students Visit Intact Financial Corporation

Insurance Management students had the privilege of visiting the head office of Intact Financial Corporation in Toronto for an enriching day focused on learning and networking. The event provided participants with an exclusive opportunity to gain firsthand experience of the inner workings of one of Canada's leading insurance companies.

During the visit, students were treated to a tour of the company's facilities, gaining valuable insights into various aspects of insurance operations. They had the chance to engage with technical experts from Intact's personal and commercial underwriting teams, as well as their claims department, where they received in-depth information on Intact's accident benefits, liability, and auto damage units.

Furthermore, students were given a tour of BrokerLink, a subsidiary of Intact Financial Corporation, where they were immersed in the day-to-day responsibilities of personal and commercial lines brokers.

Intact's commitment to providing an exceptional learning experience was evident throughout the day, with students expressing their appreciation for the opportunity. One student remarked, "This was an amazing opportunity!" underscoring the significance of the visit in their educational journey.
