Insurance Management Students Land Exciting Role as Junior Underwriters

Brenden Zerihun and Robbie Stephens, both students in the Insurance Management Program, were recently hired as junior underwriters by Optimum Insurance. Optimum Insurance, a stable, preferred property & casualty insurance company in Canada, offers specialized and innovative solutions to their broker partners and policyholders. Commercial property and liability, personal property, and automobile insurance are at the core of Optimum Insurance’s business lines.

Both students were extended offers for full-time work by Optimum Insurance halfway through the second semester and will start their roles in May 2022 when they graduate. Brenden and Robbie are both in the process of completing their Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designations. They are also earning their Insurance Management Post Graduate certificates.

The faculty of the Insurance Management Program is very proud of both Brenden and Robbie and what they have accomplished this year.
